Jonathan was born in the heart of London, raised by a Jamaican father and a Filipino mother. His view on the world is shaped by three distant islands and their culture. 

Jonathan first picked up a camera in his teenage years, inspired by his mother whose passion was to document her family's life and capture beautiful landscapes on their frequent travels to the Philippines.

Crafting digital code as a Software developer by day and experimenting with his camera at night, Jonathan is fascinated by everything digital. He believes in learning, through trial and error, experimentation, practice, research and most of all an unwavering passion for what he does. 

Jonathan sees photography as way to explore places, to meet people and to discover cultures. As such, his photography encompasses a vast universe of subjects, from landscapes and street scenes, to models and race cars, and everything in between. A camera is a tool to capture a life's journey.
